CARVED 2014 – October 19
How do the Piedmont’s finest chefs get into the Halloween spirit? By taking their superior knife skills to pumpkins for fun, bragging rights, and for a great cause. CARVED 2014 will be held at 7th Street Public Market in uptown Charlotte on Sunday, October 19.
Local chefs will begin carving at 4pm, competing for top prize as you bid on your favorite jack-o-lantern to take home with you just in time for the hallowed holiday! This is a family friendly event, in fact kids are encouraged to bring a carved pumpkin for a kids carving competition, prizes awarded. Join us for music, banter, merriment, and fun.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids 18 & under: $5 (unless they bring their carved jack-o-lantern and then it’s free!) Proceeds go to Piedmont Culinary Guild and Slow Food Charlotte’s Farmer Fund.
