Comida, in the Plaza Midwood area of Charlotte, NC, is hiring a new Executive Chef to lead the kitchen at this independently-owned Modern Mexican restaurant. Will be responsible for menu development, staff teaching, inspiring teamwork on the line, maintaining consistency in dishes and service – plus will work closely with FOH.
Must be skilled in Latin cuisines and techniques – as well as be proficient in costing, inventory, staffing, maintaining labor budgets, and keeping within designated food cost parameters. Spanish-speaking a plus.
Compensation will be determined by experience and qualifications. Competitive bonus structure, with potential partnership opportunities after the first year.
