Earl’s Grocery, in Charlotte, NC, has an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef with:
- Overseeing prepared foods, à la carte, grab and go, and catering departments.
- Writing and executing daily prep lists and par lists.
- Managing kitchen quality, sanitation practices, food costs/waste controls, and daily ordering.
- Prepare, cook, and package food items to specs, standards, and health codes.
Candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience cooking in high volume, from scratch kitchens. Catering/production experience is a plus, as is previous supervisory experience.
