Orrman’s Cheese Shop – Cheesemongers

Orrman’s Cheese Shop is looking for full and part-time cheesemongers to work its cheese bar at 7th Street Public Market in Uptown Charlotte. Shifts vary between 6-9 hours each day and include a 30-minute paid lunch break. Must be available to work weekends.

Core Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility of the cheese bar including taking orders, creating cheese boards and inventory.
• Provide kind and exemplary customer service.
• Complete tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and effectively.
• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Adheres to food safety guidelines and regulations.

Applicants must have the physical ability to comfortably lift 40 pounds as well as be able to stand for at least six hours.

Benefits include a 30% discount to all store products, shift meals, and accumulation of sick time after 90 days.

Full-time employees also receive PTO after one year and can work toward earning American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional accreditation.
