Willow’s Bistro – Line Cooks

Willow’s Bistro, in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring a full-time and part-time Line Cooks who will assist the executive and sous chef with daily tasks – including preparing food to chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations
  • Prepare food for service
  • Cook menu items with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report, and follow chef’s instructions
  • Clean up station and maintain a clean work place
  • Stock & rotate inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards

Required Skills / Experience

  • Proven cooking experience, restaurant cook or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Culinary school diploma a plus
