Tephra – Vegan Takeover at Davidson Street Public House

PCG Member Shawn Harrison of Tephra has teamed up with member Elizabeth Anne Dover of Dover Vineyards for a plant-based three-course dinner with optional vegan wine pairing at Davidson Street Public House in the NoDa section of Charlotte. The produce and the wines come from Elizabeth Anne’s farm.

Ticket Cost: $37.75 / $58.75 (with pairing)

I. Mustard glazed tempeh. Cilantro cashew cream. Carrot parsnip slaw. Romaine.
Paring: Villiard Blanc

II. Slow braised seitan ‘short rib.’ Coldwater Creek Farm grits. Baby carrot. Radish. Pickled fennel. Crispy fried shallots. Black cherry red wine reduction.
Paring: Cabernet Franc

III. Dark chocolate orange brownie. Vanilla coconut milk ice cream. Chocolate fondue. Maple candied pecans. Smoked caramel. Espresso salt.
Paring: 2013 Chambourcin
