DESCRIPTION:PCG Member Mindy Robinson is inviting chefs\, farmers market customers\, and friends from the community to Tega Hills Farm pick the last crop of peppers before winter sets in. Over 10 varieties of peppers\, from mild to very spicy. You keep what you pick. No charge. \nTega Hills provides plastic bags for holding peppers. Participants should bring boxes if they plan to carry away more than five pounds of peppers. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring a snack or dessert to share and canned food items to donate to the local Fort Mill Care Center. Tega Hills Farm will provide a pot of chili\, brats on the grill\, tea\, and water. Most of the work is done inside the high tunnel\, so rainy weather is NOT a problem. \nAlso\, used microgreen soil is available for hauling away; participants should contact Mindy Robinson ahead of time to arrange to take away soil. \nShort farm tours are available at 3 and 4 pm. \nCost: Free
