DESCRIPTION:PCG Member Jennifer Stalford is hosting a one-day Bees & Shrooms Summer Camp\, 9am-noon\, for rising 3rd-7th graders at J & J Family Farm in Clover\, SC. \nCampers will learn about honeybees\, explore a pizza garden\, taste honey and understand how mushrooms help honeybees. Campers will also design a pizza garden that they can implement at home and all will take home seed packets. \nThis camp is fun\, educational\, and is taught by Jennifer Stalford who is a Master Beekeeper\, Master Gardener\, and Mushroom Farmer. All activities are outdoor so sunscreen and comfortable clothing with closed-toe shoes are recommended. \nAge exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis All of the camps will be outdoors so be ready to hike and walk around. \nCost: $30.00 (+fee). \nRegistration deadline is one week prior.
