In addition to the Pig Pickin’ there will be a raffle of Market goodies\, kid activities\, and more. \nCost: $10.00. Proceeds will go to the Market’s SNAP Matching Program. \nPublic parking is available in the parking lots of Lake Norman Christian School (South Street) and Davidson Presbyterian Church (Intersection of Jackson St & Depot St). \nNo reservations needed. Learn to recycle your used coffee grounds for your cultivation kit\, and enjoy fresh gourmet mushrooms all year. \nThis is a fast-growing and fun way to enjoy mushroom cultivation\, and it’ll help you span the “in between” seasons for outdoor cultivation. Part of the Family Food Garden Class Series\, PCG Member Pressly Williams of Renfrow Farms will be joined by Jeff Rieves\, Horticulturist & former NC Cooperative Extension agent in instructing you how to plan your garden for healthier plants\, more food\, and more fun. Growing your own food is easy\, it doesn’t have to take up a lot of space\, and it can save you money. \nCost: $20.00 per person per class. If two members of the same family register together\, the total cost is $30.
