Santé – Lead Line Cook

Santé in Matthews, NC is looking for a full-time Lead Line Cook to work Tuesday-Saturday, 35-40 hours/week. Occasional need for Sunday or Monday for Special events. Very competitive pay.
Job Duties
- Setting up and maintaining entrée station with all necessary supplies and food.
- Preparing food for service utilizing various cutting and cooking techniques.
- Cooking menu items and daily specials with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation in a timely fashion.
- Keeping a professional and positive attitude with coworkers and guests.
- Cleaning/breakdown of station and help maintain clean standards of the rest of kitchen.
Candidates must have proven cooking experience as a line cook. Fine dining experience preferred. Culinary degree preferred. Applicants must also possess an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures – as well as demonstrate accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
